Firstly if you are reading this because you have recently welcomed a little baby I would like to wish you and your family huge congratulations.

Why?

Some background...

When I had my daughter I really wanted some images to document her tinyness but I didn't want anything fussy or posed. I just wanted simple high quality images that captured her just as she was.

My style of photography is very natural and all shoots are extremely relaxed. I use both colour and black and white images to document your little one. Please see my Instagram page for current examples of my work. katielloydphotography

Where?

Most Newborn sessions are carried out in the comfort of the babies home (if this is not something you can accommodate we can have a chat and I would be happy to offer an alternative.)

With simplicity at the heart of my photography Newborn sessions use only natural light and require no posing .

Photographs are usually taken using a simple black or white background material that is provided. 

​

*please note ample natural light is necessary for at home newborn photography sessions.

​

 

What? 

​

When asked about what your baby should wear I would suggest something plain or neutral in colour. (This is to keep the focus on your beautiful little one.)  A white baby grow is always my personal favourite. Additionally photographs using blankets and your baby in their nappy and usually documented too. 

​

Duration?

Sessions are usually completed within an hour (however I work to the mothers and babies needs so this is just a guide.) We can take as many breaks as needed. You and your baby being comfortable and happy will always be my first priority. I know there can be feelings of pressure or anxiety following welcoming a baby and my job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Pricing?

For Newborn photogaraphy sessions I offer two package options*...

​

Package 1 - a digital album of 15 images - £150.

or 

Package 2 - a digital album of 25 images - £225.

​

If you would also like parents or additional siblings to be included in some images there will be an additional cost of £60 added to the total album price.

​

*A non refundable deposit of 20% of the total session price is required to secure any booking.

 

 

Delivery?

​

I aim to delivery albums within 3 weeks of the session date. Albums are sent digitally to your chosen email address and use an application that allows you to download the images directly to your preferred devise.

Most of my clients use instagram instant messenger to communicate via my photography page. (A link to my instagram page can be found here) simply send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.)
